HISTORY ~

The company was "purely" independent until 2020, after a brief "hiatus" to restructure; Southside Recordz ~ (THE CONGLOMERATE) had grown to announce a significant joint-venture distribution partnership with Texas-based Smith Entertainment Distribution - (Smith Music), enabling expanded drops of music and film projects.

The company has evolved into a "resilient" media distribution with diversified assets, including a 24/7 news channel (Technocracy Fight Media), exclusive merchandise sales, and film distribution arms. Key milestones include partnerships with "SoundOn Distribution" for music, "BMI Publishing" for publishing, and "Indie Rights Movies" for film, solidifying its role in independent media.

Former and Current Music Artists ~

Southside Recordz maintains a compact, independent artist roster, heavily centered on Edward Rawlinson's own productions and collaborations. The label distributes hip-hop, trap, and instrumental tracks, often featuring exclusive releases and remixes. 

Current artists include:

• DJ Killa Karolina (aka Confuzious Tha Prince): Edward Rawlinson's primary alias, serving as both artist and producer. He has released tracks like "Call It What U Want" and is featured across multiple upcoming projects, emphasizing themes of self-worth, currency, and introspection. As the company's in-house talent, he handles production for most releases.

• Purpp God: A featured hip-hop/trap artist on several albums, including his upcoming "GREATEST HITS ALBUM" (January 2028) and (SOUTHSIDE RECORDZ GREATEST HITS ALBUM: "VOLUME 1"). Known for collaborations with DJ Killa Karolina.

• (Unsigned Affiliated) artist ~ JUICEB☮X: Appears on compilations like — (Southside Recordz - GREATEST HITS ALBUM—"VOLUME 1") and the remix album: (Southside Recordz Presents: "Murder Week"), blending hip-hop with eclectic influences.
