Technocracy Fight Media, a subdivision of Southside Recordz ~ (THE CONGLOMERATE), is producing a non-commercial online newscast podcast focused on journalistic content. This activity may occur while our news reporters and/or journalist are camping on public unowned land and/or national forests in North Carolina. We are committed to full compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. 

Below is an overview of our operations for clarity:

The podcast is a non-commercial, journalistic endeavor protected under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees freedom of the press. It involves recording audio and/or video content for online distribution via https://www.southsiderecordz.com, with no monetization or commercial intent.

Disclosure: Edward Rawlinson, a key participant in this project, is a member of the news media. As a news reporter, his activities associated with producing online news podcast are constitutionally protected under the First Amendment, ensuring his right to gather and disseminate news without undue restriction.

As a non-commercial activity, this podcast does not require a Special Use Permit from the U.S. Forest Service for expressive activities in national forests (per 36 CFR § 251).

Our activities take place during lawful camping on public lands and national forests, following U.S. Forest Service regulations (36 CFR § 261).

We minimize noise to avoid unreasonable disturbance to other visitors, using quiet recording equipment (e.g., directional microphones) in accordance with 36 CFR § 261.10.

We adhere to Leave No Trace principles, ensuring no environmental impact or damage to public lands. 

Surveillance/Security Disclosure: All of our authorized campsites are under corporate security video surveillance and any attempt to defame, interfere and/or disseminate false information on any of our news reporters, employees or corporate associates will be met with appropriate legal action.

Equipment Disclosure: All equipment present on the campsite, including but not limited to recording devices, microphones, cameras, and related materials, is the property of Technocracy Fight Media, a subdivision of Southside Recordz ~ (THE CONGLOMERATE), and is used solely for the purpose of producing this non-commercial newscast podcast.

In the event of a complaint or false report regarding any of our corporate camping sites used for journalistic activity, North Carolina law enforcement or equivalent authorities are legally obligated to disclose the identity of the complainant to Edward Rawlinson, News Reporter, pursuant to North Carolina’s public records laws (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 132-1 et seq.) and principles of transparency, particularly when such complaints may infringe upon constitutionally protected press activities. This ensures our ability to address any false or misleading reports that could impact our lawful operations.
